Steve Krugman is a drummer. At age six, he decidedly pointed at an aqua-swirl half-pint drumset in a toy store and refused to leave until it was securely packed into the family Pinto. With one finger and a child’s plea, he had set in motion his life’s passion and career.
After earning his degree from the renowned University of North Texas jazz program, and a decade as an in-demand freelance drummer based in Dallas, TX, Krugman once again packed his drums and moved to Los Angeles, CA—bringing with him extensive gigging, touring, and recording experience, as well as a reputation as an accomplished clinician and educator.
Now happily established in L.A., Krugman is gratified to be busy playing with world-class musicians and doing what he loves. He remains mesmerized by the instrument that chose him.
